Doyle opened his store on Green Bay Road in Winnetka in 1972, then moved to the current Chestnut Street location in 1986, all while maintaining a dedication to value and service. With over twenty years’ experience working alongside his father, Shawn Scott continues our tradition of excellence today.

I came to Doyle after having been given the run-around by Sunglass Hut (where I purchased my boyfriend's RayBans) and Luxottica corporate. Neither were able to repair a broken temple screw. I walked into Doyle without an appointment and although 4 people stood ahead of me in line, Sean quickly served his customers with satisfaction. I explained I hadn't purchased the glasses at Doyle and that did not matter to him. He fixed them in just a few minutes and thanked me for coming in. No charge. I don't have a need for prescription glasses, but I will purchase all of my future sunglasses from Doyle and highly recommend others to patronize the store.
